I was drifting on a melody
when I was hit by a symphony that was bittersweet
there is no escaping reality
now I kick the sludge
as I walk around the wreckage
of my broken dream

Somethings always going wrong
and the people get rocked
as the landscape changed
the one percent get their laugh on
watching all the pain

the middle class collapes
and the american dream fades

icebergs melt into the sea
as the climate starts to change

chem trails are real
fake news confuses
and there are to many conspiracies

what was once is no more
the chloride in drinking water
has me worrying

monsanto breeds
trump tweets
collusion reeks
the middle east is torn,
california burns
puerto rico yearns
Alabama rejected moore.

to live like this
takes away everything
nothing is what it seems
can not tell whats real
when so many unreal things are happening

There has been another shooting
and
all the crippled pilgrims were shocked
common sense was enraged
and the medias reaction
was to say
this is just a new phase

although it fades
the pain of living never ends

no matter how hard I try
bad things keep happening

my mind is blown and I am wired

In my broken dream
the landscape suddenly changed
the one percent could not stop laughing
and the good people were enraged,
if you see what I see
you will want the world to stop
because
I see it all as it is ending.

I/'/m feeling the pain as well. Never thought I would to be honest. You can blame technology too.
I feel sorry for the tax evaders that lived in the underground market. Nobody deals in cash anymore and you can/'/t even get health insurance without a tax return. :)

Modern man and society ruined my business. No one walks outside anymore to do anything. That is a sad reality. I/'/d be happy to go back to the early 80/'/s.
Great write indeed!

The world falls into deeper desperation every year. Natural disasters, crooked officials, threats of war etc. The truth in this piece was overwhelming. thanks for sharing
