Sono il paladino che l’amore
Ha accendato fuochi
Nella profondità di tuo cuore,
Che ora mi accendono
Con un nuova destino
Cogli arnesi pronto, ed il fuoco forte:
Vengo, all’opra che mi sta aspettando,
Sono l’avanguardia della prosperità,
Che sfida tutta
Per la speranza della mia gente.

Coltivo i campi intorno a me
Cogli sogni di miei patrii,
Con falce nella mano
Lavoro meno qualunque
Paura o dubbio.
Con falce nella mano
Farò la patria mia
Non per mia propria gloria,

Consolido la grandezza
Che fu e sarà nazione mio,
Lavoro-tutti giorni e notti,
Con tutto amore ed eccelenza
E farai il tu destino!
Forgerò mia patrimonia eternale,
Solo con mia inspirazione,

Your poems seem good, wish I could understand them :-( but when I tried to read a loud, they sounded very nice :-) I am sure they mustn't be less than a masterpiece!
