So silly….so strange,
a thought of yesteryear on the wings of a song….
smiling, my hand goes along, click- arranged.

‘Sugar’, System of a Down.
So silly….so strange,
so hard to discover them a tool,
and I laugh at the me of then,
at that fool.

Of sponge in that day.
So silly….so strange
to let a riff and sticks and skins
seduce me; a play,
to slip the message in.

Now of crustacean temper for their assault.
So silly…..so strange
to know when the wave broke,
to know we lost; a system of a down as

So silly….so strange,

I am stuck on the "Now of crustacean (to perhaps) temper their assault", always so silly, this life, so strange,
the songs, sometimes harmony, rhythm, the beat
that kept one going, that makes the song their own without knowing the words, or even perhaps what they meant, like time - perhaps a time or a bedrock slowly leaked out by the establishment that never sought any goal, never knew of any rock that would continue on to roll.

Your idle, off the cuff style echoes a wistful reminder that age (crustacean temper) thinks its youth was foolish; (to let a riff and sticks and skins seduce me) while its youths only sin was wide-eyed hope.

Let us spare our young the realities of growing old and somewhat wiser--that youth may bloom full blushed in its spring, and we may sequester in a winter come too soon.
