We photo and selfie to all of our friends; I ask you, what could we be thinking?

We are the “Here I am guys!” generation!
Always on stage by our own invitation!

Our goal is to share every moment with you!
(And anyone near us who listens knows too!)

No need to make time to meet, sit and talk;
It’s simpler to broadcast our lives while we walk!

Why stop to describe or explain, or enlighten;
It takes much too long, and its not as exciting!

Realitys limited to what is what;
It cannot be colorized, resized or cropped!

And thus competition serves to remind us;
Of what we still lack, and how the world finds us;

If we’re all so special, then none of us are!
Ive nothing to share that deserves a gold star!

So I say phooey, it’s best I’m not known;
Turn off the spotlight, Ill be fine alone.

I am who I am, and Ill be who Ill be;
A shame you won’t be there to share it with me!

Hello there my dear friend

This makes me think of my poem Interaction. Your so right technology has eradicated the human connection. Its sad what this world has come to. Yes in some instances technology helps us interact over long distances, however for those close enough to just reach out their hand and touch their fellow man yet don/'/t because we have become so comfortable and Lazy we abuse technology. Awesome write and message. God bless.

Greetings
Russ

Perfect. To rhyme with such ease and tell it straight is very gifted.
