All bodies are burning
The media can/'/t teach
Allegiance under flame
Heaven is just the sky
Daggers sold for fame
All the smiles are a lie
Stitched lips so pretty
Social beauty the best
Early latte committee
Infliction a path to test
Hurting you as a team
Paycheck the plateau
Riches bought a dream
Hell the new chateau

It probably doesn/'/t mean the same to you but when I read it I see society as a me-me world and no one cares about anybody anymore but themselves.
Great write!

Angst calling, it leaves a message on the
land line phone, another, then another,
beep, beep, beep, went the tone.

Then, they got the cell, then they got to texting
And looking to the cell wondering what was
being written

Then, a few sat at the corner shop and talked
freely with a cup of java

in the morning mist

You know, the lovely morning mist
hey, you are alive, me too
feels good!

I like this / means a lot/ soothing flow
at the end.

Nice thought Senior Duff!!!

Peace!

And then Randy walked in
the girl who is always stuck
in a book
walked in, and removed
a redwood tree needle from her
shoe and stuck it in her nose
and said hello...
hell yes, to be alive is good,
we all laughed, we laughed
Pete/'/s white hot latte foam
flown across the misty morning
room.
