Sunshine gone, replaced with clouds
dark promises of rain.
Booming thunder clears the air
with drizzles on the pane.
Book now closed upon her lap
her gaze is far away.
Memories waltzing in her mind
she sees another day.

Fingers trace her pink full lips
remembering a kiss ...
Rain fell then, so long ago
on shadowed, secret bliss.
Ink now faded, flowers dried
so long ago enclosed.
The tale is told upon the page

Very well done. I enjoyed it, with a starting bit of skepticism that turned into excited anticipation.

My favorite thing, is that there/'/s a sense of gone, and a lack of closure, but at the same time there/'/s a sense of peace. It/'/s as if we/'/re feeling the sense of missing, but all the while celebrating what it is we miss with the jaunt of the flow you/'/ve given it. Again it/'/s enjoyable all the more with that flow.
The line "Memories waltzing in her mind" was great because of the elegance and beauty in it.
The lines "She lives to see another day" and "drizzles on the pane" are awesome because it instinctively reinforces a sense of well-being and optimistic tone and cadence, and I love it. This poem gives hope. :)
