I love a good movie
I get emotional about awesome TV shows
I like to be entertained
It gives me a happy glow

When you can invest in the characters
And they give you something back in return
When directed, produced, acted and written well
The team deserves a pat on the back

But some TV and films start out good
But then fall short of the mark
Some shows and movies you watch on a whim or a recommendation
Can be enlightening for your heart

Hits, misses, surprises or fails
Some are like snails, slow to perform
Some are like log fires and keep you warm
So what ever genre you prefer, tell your friends about good shows and movies you've watched
It's good to share

Surprise

I love a good movie
I get emotional about awesome TV shows
I like to be entertained
It gives me a happy glow

Forgive me. I cannot resist the analogy in your poem to People!

You could be speaking of humanity instead of the performing arts.
There is a thin line between the two!
I enjoyed this so much! You give us good advice, and good friends should be shared as well!

My taste is so strange, both in music and tv shows and movies, finding someone who'd be willing to watch the majority of stuff I like would be like finding the "one". Lol

I like Softerware's comment. It didn't even hit me about that possibility. If that were the case I would be the slow snail, and make for a pretty boring story to many.

Brings me back to my favourite movie, you know, the one you watch over and over again without ever getting tired of it even though you know more or less all the lines!!
