we need a loving God more than ever I really do think.
With people who can't separate God and church from state
I really feel we must learn to love and reach out not to hate.
So God help guide us, hold us close so not to fall
Help us to love one another differences and all.
Tonight as I close my eyes and rest

I cried today I couldn't believe
I am trying so hard to not wear my heart on my sleeve
I dreamed a sweet dream of you last night

So beautiful, Ms Blue. The world is really getting so messed up and I love the way you hit on that but worked in beauty simultaneously. I dream about my family too, that have passed on, and I sometimes wonder if it's really them...really them visiting us. I suppose anything is possible. *hugs you tight* Loves, Teim P.S. The very same that any of us can do. :)

I like the sentiment. Too well I know that feeling, overly sensitive, overly compassionate, and naivety getting the best of all of this.

There was a song I liked that had a lyric, kind of dark in its own right, but insightful all the same.

"Bleeding hearts will always run dry..."

Perhaps it's best we try to save that blood for what we truly should be focusing on as we do our best. Same with when we put it on our sleeve.
