When I fall
I hope that it won't be too far
For I know

I may not relate to this right now, but there are times I do, and when we have ourselves a downfall, whether it's to be expected or occurring, there's herein the reminder that we should remember when on that other side, that regardless of that fall any of us and all of us go through, that they tried their best, as nobody wants to fall for fun when so much is at stake. I have to say with that in mind, for our loved ones to do and be their best is one of the few things we ask of them, and that is honorable, and so is our support of them.

I think we should all be able to relate to that sentiment, and I think that's what is being referred to here in the second set of lines. It's an interestingly rare discussion. Thanks for that. :)

What a warm reminder that when we believe in the goodness of others, whether they are up to the task or not; they will do their utmost to prove us right!

That is why love endures and passion fades. You have drawn a subtle line between them; helping us define what epitomizes romantic partnership. And you have said it beautifully.
