the shade of the sky
and the sky will turn black
on the day that she dies

Her mouth so dry
from tears that she cries
There's no turning back
when you've been telling lies

And to her heart's surprise
not everything dies
because some things lack
a soul to demise

No matter how hard she tries
she can't say her good-byes
and she keeps losing track
of the truth and the lies

It blends and it hides
putting on its disguise
Wishing she could go back
and take her own advise

She had eyes
the shade of the sky
and the sky did turn black
