Playful fawns bound through the valley
Crickets chirp turns to dismissal
Daylight dreamers resting sadly
Missing beauty's early view

Golden rays begin to brighten
Chasing mists that float so wistful
Sunlight rises o'er horizon
Shades of orange and amber hue

Tree limbs sway and cast their shadows
Shading havens in the thistle
Vibrant bird songs 'cross the meadow

Early morning sunlight shining
Bouncing off of bladed crystal
Evening stars are slowly fading

I like this, but most can't see past this non-newtonian liquid of life. For them life passes through a bottle-neck like ketchup.
The horizon is not ever-present, the past is solid waste, the future, yet again a colloidal mixture of uncertainty, like milk, if you will.

Lovely imagery threaded through this piece, I really enjoyed reading it from start to finish.
It also reminded me that I should really try to get up early some days. I'm more of a night person but after reading this I feel like I'm missing out on so much!!
