You and me and me and you
We can watch the noon light
as it twists into moonlight
And we can watch the artificial stars
As they flicker and conduct the choir
And dance to the rhythm of our heart
And then I'll sweep you off your feet

We can talk awhile and take it slow
We can talk awhile, give into time's flow
I've written songs and written words
About a girl I've never met
Then there was that red dress, you had it on
And all I could hear was "Babylon"
So, I'm letting go of my head and heart
In hopes of knowing what could start

Suddenly, I find the stars aligned
And I'm missing nothing I've left behind [comments] => 4 [counter] => 244 [topic] => 2 [informant] => stalkee [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
