Advent is for preparation

For the coming of the King;

King of hearts and our salvation,

Our being's source and spring.

Advent is for transformation,

Time to pray and be tranquil,

For He comes, man's consolation,

Every open heart to fill.

Dark are hours in Advent,

Dusky twilight fills the day,

Sun rays feeble, weak and faint,

With the skies a murky gray.

Then the days begin to grow,

For the Savior brings increase,

Tepid hearts begin to glow

To our Sun, Christ Adonis.

Advent is a new Debut,

New beginning, new a start,

To make thrive and bloom and bough,

And the song strings of the heart.

Magnificat~- the maiden praised

The Lord and hugged Elizabeth,

The humble maiden God had raised

To glory's highest blessedness.

Magnificat, Magnificat!

The savior of the fallen world.

Thanks her obedient 'FIAT'

Has in her womb a tiny finger curled.

Sacred is the Advent Season,

To prepare for Him t'is meant,

Jesus only is the reason

And the joy of His Advent.

The old and new. Testament. Magnificent / present/ past.
I pretend/ history/ bold.

Here's what I think about Jesus. It's about old human suffering and new. Wrongly and uncertainty, and yet, sadly true like fear/ like human sacrifice to make things right/ which is more than wrong. The opposite of sadly, hope, waiting holding on/ generations of waiting/ then Jesus.

Mythic, tangled ethos, slavery, stoning, justice, hope.
Everything you can think of, only worse, and beyond. Mistaken, unsaid bravery, weak, versus so called strong.

It's not religion. I think of it as pure love. I see time, all time can be traveled. Back and forth, find a century, place or time where you left your thoughts, your soul to dream. Quite literally. But not here, not on the living Earth where the present lives, with which we know of dread. Shield yourself away from dread, it's a quite natural element, no mere notion, my soul prays alone to keep/ that is so built-in.
(just so every man, woman, child, shall ever know, not that it would ever need to be said, it's that obvious, truly, it is).

I envision Jesus knowing this, with certainty. God, only a figment, only a cry. Let my people go.
But how?

I love your visionary poems. Your love, I do not think of written text exactly as in there are in so many words, interpretations built up again and again, upon so many dialects, so many meanings, there is no breaking them all down to make perfect sense/ there is no bare breaking of the ground. I think here on Earth, everything is exactly now, as it is.

I look at Abraham, not Abraham from the bible, but Lincoln,
not perfect, like a perfect specimen, because...
There is no such thing.

I think or have learned to fancy poets, Like Emily Dickinson, who was all alone, one learns or gestures from old, or perhaps only with an imagination and a book(s) wondering --- looking outside her window, in real time when in her time, time was now, and she knew that there were so many different goings on, in exactly her present time.
Maybe like Jesus once did. And so lived/ not to be a king or ruler of humankind/ but quite the opposite. Not a country, or even a place. Not a war, not a virtue misplaced.
A real body.

Thank you for a wonderful poem.
You put so much into your thought. You see, your words make me think, and others as well.
And that's quite good.

Peace!
