This prayer is for people, gracious Lord
That toil with Office, Spreadsheets, or with Word;
Look down with favor on the arduous work
Of programmers, technician, office clerk.

And other folk that roam and advertise,
Be they like serpents, prudent, shrewd and wise
And sweet like gentle doves help lesser wits
To manage well the software’s bytes and bits.

Bless Lord the engineers that must assist
And coax computers yield a finer grist
And probe, and track down naughty elf and djinn
In systems innards of the weird machine

Repay, reward all those that softly groan
And moan while trouble-shooting on the phone,
Steady the slipping mouse in sweaty hand
That executes their stern remote command.

Watch o’er the hard worked for and useful site
Protect it from the kobold troll and sprite;
And shield the working screen from sudden freeze;
Let first the workers exit at their ease.

Look down with favor on the clever wiz
That straightens out mixed-up directories,
Bless authors, writers that submit their writ;
And gallant souls that have to publish it.

Protect the CPU, we pray good Lord!
And everything that’s on the motherboard;
Accept the in and output’s sourdough maze
With favor as a song of laud and praise.

Dear Mr. Ravi!

I am so happy you like the poem and to hear you are a computer engineer.

Well, this is my true situation ,-versified.
How marvellous it would be to have an engineer nearby to help!

So, you know why the poem is good, because I live it daily, together with ejeculatory prayers for help.

Thanks for the empathy!

Have a blessed Pentacost Sunday
and may the Holy Ghost graciously help and counsel me.

Elizabeth

Hi dear friend!

I just sent you a message telling you that I cannot find your poem "HATE" under letter "W" Wrybod.
Can you send me the link so I can read it?

Warm regards!

Elizabeth Dandy
