The mysteries of the stars,
The trees whisper words of love;
The oceans roar...
The sun shines over dark skies,
It dries up the tears from our eyes...
Our hearts hear laughter,
Our hearts smell fear;
We had all tasted pain in our years...
Like a ghost, our lives pass before our eyes,
We better hurry up, before we run out of time.
The restlessness of our spirits cause us to breakdown,
when we are not prepared for life's daily battles...
But when we find that quiet place within our souls,
We meet Grace and Peace...
The train comes quickly,
We must have our tickets ready...
We must renew our minds and strengthen our faith.
Commune with God's Spirit
And worship Him every day...
We must open our eyes and see that our redemption draws near...
We must keep seeking the good, even in the waters of uncertainty...
We must acknowledge our past, and let it be!
For if we don't heal the wounds of yesterday we will continue to bleed today!
No bandages can do it, no kiss on the boo boo will do justice...
We need to go to the roots of our problems,
Even though it seems not to cease.
We like Jesus must walk on water!
We must walk on water! We must not be like Peter and fear the waters and sink...
We must behold the promise of Jesus in (Isaiah 41:10) and hold steadfast to His hand...
And we will never drown...
And this is our secret place: the wind whispers mercy,
The sun beams grace,
The clouds with no color or shape, suddenly become painting... and it's exuberant colors bring life to the dead!
Our lives must reflect Christ and we must be as colorful and as fruitful as a rainbow in the sky,
Which has no definite beginning or an end! [comments] => 1 [counter] => 180 [topic] => 11 [informant] => poet17 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ChristianPoetry )
