Array ( [sid] => 17320 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Mothers day Tea [time] => 2003-05-09 22:45:00 [hometext] => This is about a story of a mother who couldnt make it to Mothers day tea....................
Its actually about my son not having his Grandma for Grandparents day but I rewrote it for Mothers day! [bodytext] => Today at school is a special day,
Mothers Day tea,
maybe home is where you should stay,
thats not a place for you to be,
But the little boy insisted to go,
I know I'll be ok,
She'll be there, I for sure know,
then he went on his way,
All the other children sat down for tea,
Their mother by their side,
But the little boys mom was'nt to be seen,
but he sat there still with pride,
Each one talking of their mothers special chores,,
As it came his turn to speak,
One child yelled out,"hey where is yours?"
Then his voice became weak,
I know today is Mothers Day tea,
she would have wanted to be here,
But I stand here alone as you can see,
For my mother I'd love to share,
She's just to far away right now,
but I feel her every day,
She'd be here if God would allow,
but Heaven is where she has to stay,
We use to have the best of fun,
she use to play ball,
she always said she loved me a ton,
and hugged me when I fall,
baked the best cookies in town,
at least thats what I say,
she sang me to sleep with a gentle sound,
and beside me is where she'd lay,
And even now she tucks me to bed,
I hear her singing still,
I feel her brush the hair on my head,
my heart she will always fill,
when I look at all the mothers out there,
I can't say I dont cry,
But my mom can be anywhere,
and that helps me to get by,
So I don't need to see her face,
or feel her gentle touch,
because those memories I can't erase,
the way she loved so much,
For I know my mom is standing here ,
looking down on me,
If she was I'd wipe away her tear,
and say your love I don't have to see!
