Wide open are your ears.
Mine are full of fallen tears.
Pills on the table - by your cheers.
What has become of you ??
You tell me, all has turned blue.
Why can't I talk to you ????
Stay in your room like a clown.
Now walking around with a sad frown.
Little pipe inscribed with the word-PEACE.
Once my child - gone it seems.
You look out the window all day.
You must work, a job with pay.
All is blue, you said, it's all true.
"ANOTHER FALLEN IN THIS WORLDS BLUE".

Sorry for this situation. My little time in h_ll was when
my 18 year old disappeared and we didn't know where. Fortunately it worked out, but it was a bad
time. There are most likely many parents that
can relate.
take care and I wish you all the best

Richard

Thanks for sharing this. I know the temptation for anybody is strong, and I know the horrors of subcoming to it. It breaks familys apart, and heartache. Part of my family is addicted to something, and it hurts me to watch them be ridiculed, and disrespected. They become a ghost of themself . . . Great poem.
