Array ( [sid] => 17188 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => No Title [time] => 2003-05-07 16:05:00 [hometext] => i wrote this on a stormy night...and it got me thinking....i think this is one of my better poems, id like to know what you think. thanks for reading

and once again...need help with a title suggestion...i just cant come up with any good ones...thanks again [bodytext] => The thunder is crashing
The lightning is flashing
and the rain is pouring
In the depths of my soul
I'm feeling a little down
My thoughts are running wild of past happenings
Thoughts of how I was almost a piece of your life
Saying the words "what if?"
Those two words that we know so well

What if I had tried a litte harder,
Tried harder to say a few words to you
Not special words though, just friendly words
The kind of words that introduce two people
The kind of words that reveal the stranger to the other person
Those are the words that most people remember
Those first few words that their special someone said to them
I had my chance with you, you tried to meet me
But I was too scared to ever realise it, now my chance is gone

this is good. the second stanza really made me feel the poem. as for a title you could try "these kind of thoughts" or "the first few words". just a thought and again good write. david

This is a really good poem, I usually can come up with a title or two for all kinds of things, but with this one it is kinda hard...I am sure that when the time comes you will have the perfect title
once again good poem
