When my eyes finally opened you were the only one i see. We were so blissfully alone. Hiding from the world yet our connection was set in stone. Excepting that i was staying forever. You used me to tackle any endeavor. And i used you all the way up, i tried to finish you off like an empty cup. Yet your phone constantly rings. For you have other things in your life besides me. Yet when your finished and your frail you run back to me and we are never stale. Our kiss is long, your breaths are strong. You lay back and i sit on your chest, we watch the sun move as we rest. You start to shake because my embrace is wrong. I'll keep you still forever long. Passion and dependance was our relationship stand. Content with on your feet you will never land. Yet in the midst of much too much, suddenly you stood up. and put your feet on the ground. Out the door i watched you walk. In your eyes i became on locked. With lines still on your mirror suddenly the sky got clearer. I know this is the end the look in your eyes says you will not bend. Set in stone was once our connection. Now you look at me as if im an infection. Something that festers and will never heal. Yet you know from my hands is your life to steal. So take it grab it and run, i will never leave yet we became unspun. From the lies that you now see i never loved you yet i made you believe. Now forever you'll be aware for if you fall i'll be there. I'll catch you and hold you and make you feel warm. I'll enter your soul through your arm. So good luck and tread lightly. I;ll visit in your dreams nightly. Try to run all that you can. I'll sit quietly and watch you become a man [comments] => 2 [counter] => 139 [topic] => 66 [informant] => simplysublime [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => drugabuse )
