I am forever restless flitting back and forth
Between I the south and you - - the north

At night when my body huddles in the cold
The wind of harmony blows ever so keen
To entice away my soul and soothe it so ---
Then by the temporal thermals borne away
To be joined by my heart unable to stay
Apart from her sister so they might go
Back in time to that place both have been
Joined – content when I was not so old

Those were such happy times in spring
When I gave to you one night a ring

You offered all that I was safe haven –
Harbouring my feelings in sanctuary
Taking my heart and soul and fusing
Them with your own to form a whole
You recognised my need – saw the hole
In my existence and what you might bring
So you took of me – I the willing quarry
And made a meld – a union made in heaven

It was I that tried to cement that on earth
To be foiled by your quite untimely death

So that is why when I am low and lonely
Do I picture you so alive and vibrant
Your emerald eyes and hair of raging fire
The body of an angel and soothing voice
It is then my desolate soul and heart of ice
Comes to you in heaven so I can enquire
From G-d the chance to be an entrant
That I may be with you my one and only

So I know one day it will transpire –
Our wedding with an angelic choir

The Wind Of Harmony
