Stifled breath seeks fresh air from stale addiction.
Tentative fear whispers away from ears of reprisal.
Age shouts loudly from endless years of frustration!
Youth is on the warpath simmering with disaffection
Till anger and testosterone erupt!
Kicking against the doors of misdirection!
Feeding on disapproval.
Wearing every law abiding label on their sleeve.
Scum!
And the law is busy looking the other way,
Or spinning the wheel of misdemeanour to find
This week’s holiday winner.
And there is no voice saying No!,
And there is no voice saying Stop!
Containment clears the danger
Until the next time.

WOW, Anna - this is powerful, and a ''make
you sit up and listen'' declaration. For those
who tarry when action is expected, this is
a right kick in the dictums!

Wonderfully written.

Unfortunately some people have no guilt or shame. Or even if they do, it's not for long enough and they will abuse again. I've got one word for them, karma.

As usual, another great and powerful (and sad :( ) write from the Awesome Anna.

Thank you,

Tim

There is tremendous power in what you have written here and I am privileged that I was given a chance to read it.
Your work just seems effortless but so well constructed.
For works like this I will always find a way to return here.

Steve
