protecting those whose souls are weak.
Thrashing and slaying every hint of doubt,
so that their hearts with pain be without.
I am an avenger, a judge among the damned.
A sovereign soul on whose faith you stand,
A constant force on which you rely..
A force however that cannot satisfy.
For this soul, tho young and new to this vast world
has not yet the strength to settle that which has unfurled
and as such has been left battered and beaten,
as his heart races while his defenses are left weakened.

With his strength gone and resolve all but shattered,
he begins to question if his presence really even mattered.
Throwing scenarios into his mind,
he begins to live on borrowed time.
Oh what a mess this soul has found himself in,
looking outward for love when he should've looked from within.
For what good is a avenger, how important his clout,
when his own love-story is bombarded with doubt.
With spirits low and his countenance shaken,
a page from his past is readily taken.
Taken and read for all to hear
This stanza, this quote..all right here..
I stand alone upon a mountain peak,
protecting those whose souls are weak.
Thrashing and slaying every hint of doubt,
so that their hearts with pain be without. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 270 [topic] => 73 [informant] => Shadowman [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => abstract )

Sometimes it is enough to just avenge our own
hearts and let the world take care on it's own
for a time, until being refreshed, we continue
on with our just causes! Very expertly stated!

Blessings,
Robert Edgar Burns (Rob)
