[hometext] => In all the dark poetry I write, I am drawing on my experiences as a Law Enforcement Officer and receiving ideas from what others have actually said to me over the years! I am a happy go lucky guy who just tries to convey the anguish of others in verse
[bodytext] => Solitaire is a game that We all sometimes’ play. But lost alone is what you’ll be If you play it every day. Solitude every now and then Can calm a troubled heart. If it’s spent reflecting, Could bring a refreshing start. A lonely man or woman, Or a couple that you may know, Possibly in your neighborhood Know solitaires’ painful blow. For some it becomes a lifestyle, That may grow into a crutch. To lean on after lifelong hurts Dulled spirits very much. So solitaire may be just a game That many of you pretend To actually prefer to play alone Than to share time with a friend. But one thing I am sure of, All are born needing to be loved. And solitude fits broken hearts Even better than a glove!
