She found a shop in New York City which sells expensive novelty cuttings of actual wooly mammoth hair. She was enthralled. [bodytext] => WOOLY MAMMOTH HAIR

A Prehistoric Poesy
By Caleb Boone

New York weather is warm and sunny,
And you haven't the slightest care;
Nearby there hops a bunny,
And in the tree a bear,
'Round the bush an Aardvark,
Dines on apple and pear,
Squirrels and goats do frolic,
In the pleasant Central Park air,
Elysian dreams enfold you,
Joys beyond compare,
But please don't spend your money
On wooly mammoth hair.

Oh, please waste not your money
On wooly mammoth hair;
The poor elephant died youngly,
His species was so rare,
He galloped o'er the tundra,
With his fellow beasts so fair,
Until one day he froze to death,
Inside his Siberian lair,
We surely grieve his passing,
With his friends the fox and hare,
But you don't need his bristles:
Cherish not his stubbly hair.

Please don't spend your money
On wooly mammoth hair;
'Twould be a crime so crummy,
An act which none should dare,
Few may seek some glory,
As onlookers stop and stare,
Yet the great and the least
Don't desire the beast:
They haven't the time to spare,
So heed my words of warning,
Be a Lady of Savoir Faire:
Please don't spend your money
On wooly mammoth hair. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 599 [topic] => 7 [informant] => CalebBoone [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => HumorPoetry )

But please dear sir I'm homeless
And I am living on these streets!
The warmth I shall garnish from it,
When it covers me head to feet.

I have already cried a vast river
Over things lost from the past.
So please be kind if you don't mind
Put some salt on my Wooly Mammouth steak!

Just kidding! But a great and humorous write!
Blessings,
Rob
