Who truly had no sort of clue.
Drained dry and tossed,
She wandered, quite lost.
Poor, poor, girly, sweet as the dew.

Soon little Sue shook herself clear,
And realized her life had been queer.
"I won't let this happen!"
She said with a passion.
Then little Sue wiped up her tears.

Now run off to the hills, sweet child.
Here end those times that were mild.
I won't warn you again,
So don't blame me when
You encounter the creatures, so vile.

Sweet Sue isn't fit for the world. See,
You've got to have guts and be burly.
She'll perish, I swear,
But don't think I don't care.
I cry for that poor little girly.

You're next on the list, it's true.
The world's made a choice, and it's you.
The tide rises and falls.
We're all stuck in its thralls.
You'll end just like poor little Sue. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 318 [topic] => 58 [informant] => Song_of_Sarah [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => limericks )

This is a very enjoyable poem. There's a surprise hurled at the reader, when the 'mild' times end and the reader is brought into the poem.

Great write
Peace
Ammar
