My head explodes with piercing pain
The only thing that keeps me sane
For you are far away from here
I beg you please respond my dear
And cast away the shadows and the rain

For all the hours that we’re apart
My soul is wrenched as is my heart
I wonder do you feel the same
And which of us you truly blame
For our sad trysts that we did start

Forever hiding in the dark
Returning home before the lark
Why can’t we show the world we love
Each other more than God above
I tell you now I must embark

I need to be there by your side
So please dear me do not deride
For I am dark I need your light
To wrest me from this awful plight
I cannot be alone I’ve tried

My case is packed I’ll soon be there
Be ready dear and be aware
No more hiding no more lies
I’m telling all the big surprise
For now my love I truly dare

Dear respected aliopterix,

Carefully chosen words
Given as a poetic feast
Really highly impressive,
Words are short to pat
Please entertain us
Through such poems
That stand as examples
Regarding poem writing.

With best wishes, Thanking you, Yours truly,

mvvenkataraman
