Remember, nothing endures forever…
My heart sighs in sadness,
But the visions will not sever.
And now my heart is tainted,
But by something so melodic,
Or madness..?

Oh, but my body yearns so badly..
My soul cries so for your kiss..
While my heart sings so sadly,
Crying for the enchanting touch of your very caress...
How it's etched into my memory,
Engraved into my very soul...
And these longings for you,
I now know, I can no longer control;
For this drug you’ve given me carries me too swiftly,
Towards the very brim of obsession,
Too sweet to calm when you simply kiss me,
Me, merely wishing to be your only possession… [comments] => 5 [counter] => 213 [topic] => 14 [informant] => ravenblack_phoenix [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DreamsandWishes )

I agree,this poem IS touching...I liked "Towards the very brim of obesession,too sweet to calm when you somply kiss me,Me,merely wishing to be your only posession".....How nicely written..I also liked the "Oh"at the beginning of your second paragraph,it made it seem like you were really longing for that person,like you wanted to pass on but just couldn't.Nicely written Raven,
PumpkinPie
