Looking out a broken window at fences that never fall

My hands bleed as I try to break and run
I am pushed back to the nowhere I had begun

Time ceases to move as I bend under my load
Like driving for hours together on an empty road

The pain is numbing every ache I had
As I watched my every cherished dream go bad

A worn out heart that has bled too much
It shrinks and shrivels at every gentle touch... [comments] => 7 [counter] => 370 [topic] => 75 [informant] => pooja [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => anguished )

Very nice poem. I feel you in every way. I once had a heart like this. It took mine six years to heal. Now I'm about to be married for the second time after a nine year absence without love

Beautiful baring of the soul, empathic words that resound in depth and sensitivity.

The poem really tells me you're hurting and hope it will all end.
