Halucinations provide a horrific sensation
And bring on the fear of eternal damnation
A terror that strikes my core foundation
I lack faith but pray an echoed affirmation
For this demon guest's immediate eradication
Evil sits on my chest in a heavy formation
As breath evades me by pure domination
My pulse reaches a peak elevation
I struggle but my body lacks communication
I fight for life with a Soul desperation
And finally break free, a liberating stimulation
I bolt up in bed with panicky respiration
Sweat blankets my sheets in total saturation
I lay back down with reservation
awaiting the next myriad of unwanted visitation

I lay in an involuntary state of sedation
My mind in a state of pure trepidation

While I do not suffer from this as a "disease" I know the occasional feeling of it and you convey that feeling really good in this. Very nicely done.

WOW!!!! i couldn't even imagine having to deal with ***** like that night after night you poor thing!It took alot of courage to share that with everyone out here and i personally wanted to let you know you write well and th thank you so much 4 sharing!!
