As I stand here
Baring my soul.
Why won't you hear me?
As I cry out
Calling for help.
Why won't you feel me?
As I reach out
Yearning for you.
Why won't you
Remember me?

Why won't you see me?
As the tears
Escape my eyes,
Why won't you hear me?
As I scream
In pain and fear.
Why won't you feel me?
As the blood
Pours from my veins.
Why won't you
Remember me?

Everyday I see you
But I know you don't see me
I am always there for you
But you're never there for me
When I call you on the phone
You never say a word
I don't think you know how much
You say that goes unheard
When you see me
How can you not see
The pain in my eyes?

Now do you see me?
Lying helpless
On the floor.
Now do you hear me?
As I utter
My last words.
Now do you feel me?
As my skin goes
Cold as ice.
Now will you

ED if she feels any guilt at all she will do everything she can to blot it and you out of her mind (i've done it so I know)

I also "died" for a period following a crash in RAF service. A moment before the impact it was as though somebody switched off the telly' in a pitch black room. Nothing.....you couldn't even "see" the darkness.

You will have no existence from which to plead your case.

All in all you couldn't take a worse course of action. If its not too late, think again

Excellent poem, pity it's your last.

this poem speaks of strong saddness... of loneliness... it seems that you have sights on one person that has no vision of you... it hurts to love someone that is oblivious to you... as the poem progresses it is clear to the reader how the saddness grows... strong write
