[hometext] => My requiem of my late relationship written on what would have been our 3 year anniversary.
[bodytext] => Today was the day, I was going to propose. I boxed all your things, Except that dried rose, I deleted the poem, That said how I felt, And I almost forgot, How your pillow case smelled. I wrote you a song, And memorized it too, It was on the violin, But I can’t play it for you. I thought that three years, Would be about right, For us to get married, And walk moonlit nights. I never thought love Would happen to me. You could probably tell, Your love set me free. I think of you now, And listen to our song, And I can’t help but wonder, What exactly went wrong? I was going to ask you, On this moonlight night, And serenade you softly, While you stood in the light. And when you said yes, I would brush back your hair, And kiss you so softly, and throw you up in the air! The ring would’ve glittered, By the light of the moon, Dimmed by your radiance, as I made your heart swoon. You will never read this, But I want you to know, I always did love you, It’s too bad you let go. So goodbye to the past, We both must move on, In my dreams you still love me, but we didn't last this long.
