[bodytext] => I'VE LEARNED THESE THINGS FOR SURE Proof of our birth, a certificate...... Death Certificate for death, no secret. Living your life, gracious grandeur These things I've learned for sure.  I know just because two people argue, Doesn't mean they don't love one another, And just because they don't argue...... Doesn't mean they do love each other.  I've learned that we don't have to change friends If........ we understand a change can remake your friends.  Even your very best friend will hurt you once in a while. Be prepared to forgive them, hugs with a smile. It matters not the miles or a long distance, Friendship and true love will endure the silence.  I've learned you can make a mistake in one instant Suffer heartache for the rest of your lifetime, frequent It's taken me my whole life to become The person I tried to be, imperfectly overcome.  Encouraging words left for all your loved ones You may never see them again, no reruns!  I've learned the "hard way" you can keep going long after you think you can't, and you're aching! Be responsible for what you do and say.... no matter how you feel on any given day.  I've learned heroes are the people who do what has to be done Then suffer the consequences for their each and every action!  I know for sure my best friend and I can do anything sometimes when we're together, having the best time doing nothing I know sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down, and out......... will be the ones to help you up lovingly and reroute  I understand since I've learned, you have the right to anger But you don't have the right to be cruel, and bitter. It's not the number of birthdays you claim for maturity It's your experiences that teach you not to remain empty  When others forgive you, that may not be enough Have you learned to forgive yourself, that can be tough! I know for certain, no matter how bad your heart is broken You may grieve, but the world won't stop to strengthen  I've taught myself that our background and circumstances are not who we are....... Influenced us, yes, but we are responsible for who we are, by far!  I know for sure that two people can look at the exact same thing, and yet, See something totally different, new font, new typeset Your life can be changed in a few hours by strangers you've never seen. "Time and unforeseen occurrences," accident scene!  I've learned that even though you think you have no more to give, When a friend cries out to you for help you'll find the strength to be active I know also that credentials on the wall don't make you a decent human that stands tall.  I've learned that those you love the most are those that are taken from us before their time. And..... Like my favorite poet says so eloquently How can you measure success accurately? I've learned down through the years, you must: "Laugh often, and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics, and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a little better; whether by a healthy child, a garden patch for a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
