Don’t let yourself be consumed by hate
Unless you’re the subject, then that’s fine.
Just so long as you never cross that thin white line
Well it’s a fight to feel something and everyone loses.
Just the ones you heard about were found in their nooses
Now can I grab some breakfast. Nah, I don’t have the time
Just make it to noon, you’ll be home by five.
This is your schedule, this is your life.
Now wake up there are customers in line.
“thank you, ma’am and have a nice day”
Just flash me a smile and be on your way
I don’t care about your daughter. I’m just making my pay.
With only two hours to go and I’m delirious.
It could be the hunger or maybe this ***** is serious.
Honestly, I hope it gets me one way or another
just so they can send me back home to my mother.
Cause’ a grave is still and doesn’t wring me for rent.
For this life I have, I wouldn’t spare a dingy cent
You can’t do what you want and I don’t want what I do
When life is patiently waiting just to antagonize you.
And don’t get excited because it all ends the same.
There is no such thing as love, there is only pain.
Life is a fight and Luck is the ref

Straight up...this is fantastic. I might be the most critical commenter on this site, too. I love this piece. You managed to rhyme real close together and not sound sing-songy or forced, which is usually a problem we face when trying to do something like that. Usually why I try to avoid rhyming like herpes. But you pulled it off, and THEN SOME. I need to say it again, this is fantastic. That is all.
