[bodytext] => Softly now doth the wind blow though thine hair,
Lifting it as it flutters like a rose petal on a rippling lake. A lost ray of sunshine lights up the shadows of thine face, And the creases of burden and worry silently fade. A secret smile brings a look of youth and innocence to thine shining eyes, Gentleness and love radiates from thine very being. Kindness has a way with thee, That makes all those around ye, that breath and dance beneath the stars, Surrender to the long-sought joy of security and warmth. Thou art as the breeze that plays upon the grass of the hidden plains, That tickles the cubs and they peacefully slumber. Thou art as the moon that guides the lost in the midnight woods, That refreshes the weary mind with an image of pure beauty. And thou art as lovely as the sunset that dips all the summer leaves of the great oak tree, In a river of orange-gold. Thine presence be sweeter than the most enchanting dream, Thine touch, feather-light, caresses my soul and calms my fretful spirit. Sweet lady, thine voice be like the fair song of the mountain spring, That sings in harmony with the famed nightingale. Yet ye surpass them both, For ye charmest me and thine eyes, Soft, gentle, yet wise and loving as a deer that gazes into the heart, They could hold me still and unmoving Whilst the world around us fell apart at the end of the Ages, And yet, all I would do, Is wonder, Marvel, And regret a second, Nay, I could not, I could never.
