I am amazed to find what a difference a day can make
It is hard to imagine being so low and knowing no more grief you can take
To wake the next morning understanding you will face it once more
Not aware of what spectacular gift waits just beyond the next door

Recently facing exactly what has been described
The only thing I wanted to do was find a place to hide
The wounds inflicted had cut so deep
That self doubt and fear into them began to seep

Questioning all that I knew and believed to be true
The turning point of the next day came in words from you
Simple words that people use every day
Yet these were sent in a special way

Formed in your heart and nourished through your soul
They hit directly at my core and reached their intended goal
Echoing through my brain each with the beat of a gentle rain
Their strength since they were whispered has done nothing but gain

To imagine that just a day before I was ready to give up on it all
To go back to the Hell I experienced before and raise the fortress wall
A day later I have a difference in my life, a fulfillment in my days
I am looking forward to sharing this experience in so many beautiful ways

Yes... I agree with this totally. A day can make a huge difference in one's life and I am certainly happy that someone made a difference in yours..

How wonderful. You are so right. The difference of a day have a monumental effect! As humans we have such a power of influence with words but so many of us miss the mark. I'm happy for you, that someone in your life has affected you this way. It's encouraging and inspiring. Thank you for sharing this. :)
