[hometext] => About losing loved ones and the memories we share
[bodytext] => Your old frail hand in mine, Teaching me how to sew, I watch you teach me, Explaining it nice and slow. I watch your hands crochet, And hear your chair creak, Intently watching you work, I don't even dare to speak. I watch as you laugh, At your America's Home Video Show, Your face is so lit up, A Grandmother's silent serene glow. I watch as you go to a home, And they offer you their care, I see you go down hill, Thinking how unfair. I watch that last day, As you didnt know where you were, But if i could have a hero, You would be her. I watch as they speak a poem, Then as they put you in the ground, I listen to all the weaps, All the tears that fall around. I hold my mother's hand, And try to be her rock, Its funny how time passes, Expiring our life's clock.
