Array ( [sid] => 155533 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Though This World [time] => 2009-12-01 12:17:53 [hometext] => I have always been inspired by great hymnists like Spafford (It is well with my soul) and Newton (Amazing Grace). They were true poets and though there is no comparison; this is my attempt at a hymn. [bodytext] => Though this world is full of sorrow
Though this world is full of sin
I have hope of a tomorrow
When good will finally win

Though this world is full of death
Though this world is full of woe
I will sing till my last breath
Heaven bound my voice shall go

Oh my God you are my savior
Oh my Lord you are my friend
Oh my God you never waver
You are good till the end
(Repeat)

Through earthquakes and disaster
Through wars and rumors of
I will humbly serve my Master
I will preach of God痴 love

Through trial and tribulation
Through persecution and much more
I will overcome temptation
For a cross my savior bore

Yes my God is my redeemer
Yes my Lord is my best friend
I am now a true believer
I値l praise God till the end
(Repeat)

In this world I freely roam
In this world I must live
But this earth is not my home
My heart to God I値l give

Let the Devil keep this globe
Let the Devil keep this land
I値l have faith like Brother Job
Walk with Jesus hand in hand

Heaven bound I shall not waver
For this world will surely end
How I long to meet my savior
Jesus Christ my sweetest friend
(Repeat)

This is excellent. I could easily see this in a hymnal!
