I already can't keep up with you,
Why don'tcha stop just for a minute,
Can't you see I've wore my boots out,
Tryin' to follow after you on the same road.

I'm calling you to turn around,
And take a look at my face,
Cuz I'm already loosin' my breath
As you got me beggin' you to stop.

You're movin too fast,
So I can't keep up with you,
There's only tears and mascara
In my weary eyes.
Please, stop, I'm beggin' you,
I'm here, stuckin' on the same old place,
But you're movin' forward as if you can't hear me,
As if you can't hear me beggin' you to stop.

You're so further away,
I see your back only,
You don't wait for anyone,
So you've left me here lonely.

The road is your life,
Your never-endin' journey,
So you never stop,
Never wait though I'm beggin' you,
You got me beggin' you to linger for awhile,
But you walk away again,
You don't need me if my life connected with one place,
Which I call my home.

You don't care if you're walkin blind,
If you don't see the light as I see,
Havin' closed one door, you're smilin'
Because your road leads you to another.

If you need the shelter I can give it to you,
If you need the friend I can be the one,
But I'm beggin' you, please wait for me,
And I give you all I can give immediately,
Oh my god, just stop, please, stop,
I'm beggin' you to look around at me,
Can't you see I can't keep up with you.
Look around, I'm beggin' you. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 233 [topic] => 2 [informant] => Alexa_Bachtel [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 17 [ratings] => 6 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
