No answer to the knocking on the door of my consciousness
But an answering machine of my memories ready to be replayed
No walkway to the chamber of my sanity
But the twisted road to my imagination with a key to its gates
A window to my reality && a projection of my fantasies
Two converging roads of my maturity
Cluttered with lost childhood idols
Plastered walls & holes covered with a band aid
To mask the storms that raged inside
Art supplied to brighten the color of my disappointment
A jar to preserve my smile when it’s not in use
A box to burry my dirty little secretes from the past that keep resurfacing
To the neglected sense of confidence, flooded by increasing levels of doubt
Endless fires extinguished by the cold embrace of loneliness
Desire nothing but a feebleness for craving satisfaction
To the angels on my shoulder asking pivotal questions
And the answers from the devil inside wishing to play
Flashbacks of the future and restlessness for the past
A cinematic symphony for the eyes to witness…
Simply press play to begin the story,
Or press stop to create a nightmare.
