How lonely life will be,
Now that you are falling
Out of love with me.

So many times I faltered,
Made too many mistakes;
I tried to right the wrong
But it was too little too late.

Due to my imperfections,
I lost the one I love;
I lost my Aggel, hero,
A loss I never dreamed of.

So I sink with this regret,
As I'm drowning in this sea,
I fall into the depths
While you fall out of love with me. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 177 [topic] => 22 [informant] => Fudge [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

This is a very touching write that flows so well. I love how you ended it - the last two lines are excellent - "I fall into the depths, while you fall out of love with me" ... very nicely done ... Jan

I've always wondered about the idea of 'making mistakes' and 'falling out of love'.. and how people change..

I think it's possible to love many many different people.. however.. there are only a few.. i believe that are a 'true' love..

In my experience, once you've experience 'love' and 'true love'.. the differences are so obvious...

However, added to this complex emotion is the fact that two people who proclaim love often put it into the context of their own feelings, rather than understanding the other person's real feelings.

just some thots.. on a great poem of loss.. I'm sorry.
