I stand here waiting for moments I'll never achieve
Just a hopeless romantic
With my soul pinned to my sleeve
Too naive to escape the lies
I find myself continually falling into the ocean of your eyes
Lost inside a love that won't return
I rest my weary head upon our bridge as it slowly burns
But nothing can sway the truth
And if I'm consumed by the fire
May the winds blow away the ashes of truth
Unchain me from my own selfless devotion
Fly away my every emotion
Maybe somehow my love will reach you
And for just a second, may you feel me beside you
Because without you, I can only hope that my most valuable breath
Will be a breath of air that you once breathed in
For just one moment may you peer within
Within my bleeding heart
While my memories hang suspended in air
Photographs of a tragic love affair
Daydreaming on a lonely prayer
My pockets are filled with a thousand love letters all addressed to you
Hoping that someday my message finally gets through
One day may you finally understand that all I've ever wanted to do was love you
And despite the broken heart within me
A hopeless romantic is all I'll ever be
Allowing the truth to set me free
Because promises are promises
And I promised I'd never leave
So I guess I'll just keep standing here...
Waiting for moments I'll never achieve.

There are many awesome lines here...
here are a few I hooked on!

upon our bridge as it slowly burns
winds blow away the ashes of truth
Within my bleeding heart

I feel your pain.
