Array ( [sid] => 149824 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => burning house [time] => 2009-05-12 05:09:31 [hometext] => the day my house was burning [bodytext] => my mother stared the maid in the eye,
as she repeted the same sentence
"i swear i didnt leave the candle on"
a witness and a phone call,
stopped the house from burning down
a swarm of human bees gathered the house.
the brave ones came in to spray some water
while the unknown ones,
stared at the burning house
its good that mum and dad were nearby,
they ran in to take the important documents,
its good they didnt trust the swarm of human bees.
mum did not take the travelling papers,
a mysery man angel watered through the fire
and saved the day, he gave my mum the travelling papers.
the firemen arrived twenty minuts late,
all they had to do was thank otheres for their help.

i lived in a world away
patiently i sat in the boarding house
with my travelling bags, school was over
the usual holiday has arrived
i waited for my mother, i hadnt seen her in a month.
as she arrived i wore a smile.
i took all my bags and sat in the car,
then she looked me in the eye
and said,
something happened to the house
in fear i asked her "what?"
then she turned and said
no need to worry

its only a minor damage.
