I know these feelings are meaningless,
so why don't they go disappear.

Always seen as the goofy brother,
never the strong supporter who will make your dreams come true.
Its a sad day,
when all you want is to feel loved.

I want to feel like I am something more,
wishing that I was the one approached.
Instead of the one always turned down,
and told to go back home.

The least you could do is spare my feelings,
and not laugh when I ask.
I know its not meant to hurt,
but its like a knife to the heart.

I won't let it break my spirit,
but my spirit is bent.
I am determined,
but always there is that air of caution.

I just want to make someone happy,
I want to make someone laugh.
I don't always want to be the friend,

Always the friend,
never anything more.

Even if its not meant to hurt, it is still mean and it still hurts.

Like this poem! Especially this part:

I won't let it break my spirit,
but my spirit is bent.
