The nip in the air and the freshness has turned stale.
Wet to the bone and not a prayer to be found,
the dampness soaks through to the bone.

~Out in the rain and a heart turned to stone~

The world has tipped beneath the feet,
soft spongy feel of the ground, drizzle and damp
a soul slips away, not a light to be found.
In a world so large, swallowed hole and a lonely void cannot be filled.

~Out in the rain and a heart turned to stone~
cruel intentions unrestrained, left cold and drained.
