They have so many problems
please show them the way.
They show no respect,
to adults that comes their way.
No kind of morals,cursing everyday.
They don't believe in God nor know how to pray.
Shooting one another,shocking IN EVERYWAY
Dresses like a begger, cool they say today.
what do they learn, who am i to say.
Pray for them alway to learn the right way. well your write on some points I've never seen someone shot but it happens else were I show respect to those I think deserve it and to me mostly everyone does for me your right on the god thing not because I don't know how to pray but because it isn't logical but I never tell someone who does believe in god their wrong. The way they dress is silly I hate it myself never could understand why they do that.
I'm a child of today as you say
your right on some points but not all children are like this. I hope I didn't offend you in someway of what I say.
but all the same great write
hope to read more soon

Well, my long time friend,
I don't think you're all wrong.
It's when they become members of a gang that makes things come to murder etc.
Also the world blames much of the the crime on poverty but that I heartally disagree with.
I raised three children alone with out any help from their father. So My children were raised on little but luv. I taught them luv and faith above all else. they turned out just fine and they are raising their children on luv and faith. They don't live in poverty tho.
In my eyes and heart it's the parents that let their children grow up empty inside. I've seen it so many times. Compassion for others is another thing I instilled in my children.
When they were teens all their friends came to me with their problems 'cause it was the inner things they really desired. My children brought all their friends home 'cause they knew Mom would advise them in luv.
good writing, friend.
Happy holidays.
big luv, huggs, prayers, blessings,
emy
Oh yea, you could comment on my work occasionally.

well i am 19, but i don't consider myself one of 'today's children' or 'the younger generation'. i diassociate myself from them because i don't share any of their values or ideals. at school it was hell because i felt like i was a different species to half the people there. i prefer adult company and adult conversation, adults get to the nitty gritty of what matters. i don't know whether it's just a british thing or not, because i have found people of my age from other countries (in particular america) to be friendly and mature. i can tell you, it's not nice being an adult in a teenagers body. although it should be said that not all british young people are ferrell, there are some good eggs in there. but they are getting rarer to find. who knows what state britain will be like in 50 years, hopefully i'll have emigrated by then. good write, friend.

Not to denounce that the younger generation is full of the kind of people and things you mentioned, but be mindful of the others.

It would be a grave mistake to alienate the kids who are indeed moral, show authority where authority is proven worthy (no, once you hit the teenage years, you learn not to follow blindly anymore... but not to not follow at all), those who hold their own religious beliefs (I'll try not to inject my own thoughts on this matter, but just because we're kids doesn't mean we aren't entitled to our own beliefs - including our religious beliefs or lack thereof), and the kids who know and follow the right way - in their own way.

As my parents say, only for so long can you teach and preach to them, but eventually you have to let them go and hope you did a good enough job.

"[It's] about being decent... And I tell you that decency changes from year to year, from land to land, and you have to learn the customs of the place you're in." (Enchantment, Orson Scott Card 226)
