He is the one who goes unnoticed,
Slipping through the crowd.
Dashing left and right.
Under his radiant shroud.
Quickly, and off he goes, into the night.

He is the one who holds the power.
Change in hands, tightly clutched.
He moves the mountains of society.
His names, once respected and such.
Silently, and off he goes, into the dawn.

He is in the energy of the morning,
You can feel him in the crisp morning air.
He presses on, into a time where he is forgotten,
And continues, his miraculous works for all to share.
Alone, and off he goes, into the day.

He is young, tired, and old.
But he cannot rest, the horizon,
Coming up to meet the Sun.
In their final daze with death, none won.
Sighs, and off he goes into the night.

She, was the one who the land lived off,
But her skies had long turned bleak.
And as she lies upon her death bed.
Touches Time upon the cheek.
And dies, as Time goes off into the night.
