Stepping on the gravel beneath my feet, broke the silence of the air.
Sitting, anticipating the next ten hours of my life I
Watched the trees roll by, little towns unaware of my passing.
Sitting alone listening to sergeant peppers, I was free.
I could do anything and go anywhere,
feeling small, in the snow capped mountains; tracks of wild animals
tracked the forest floor. Studying people on the seats next to me
where are they going? What is their story? What a fascinating concept

This poem was extremely MAGNIFICENT! In spite of a completely chaotic and almost mind altering format (please don't take that wrong), I think it adds tremendous character to this poem. I only note the format to point out to those who are so specific about how a poem should look that this (in all it's ugliness) is a nearly perfect poem. The expression of freedom and the contemplation of the freedoms which surround you in this moment are dynamic pricks to the soul of a reader. How can anything be less poetic than that? Poetry is at its best when free and even better when the poet is descriptively aware of the freedom within. The way you've chosen to express your journey through freedom is inspiring and humanistically, romantic. This is powerful writing at its most explosive. It is exceptionally spirited and a multiplied joy to read. Thank you for sharing a taste of freedom with us.
