mind empty as a hollow canyon. Morning sounds filled the air and swam through my head.
My skin felt tight and raw as a corpse. I knew I was breathing but felt so dead.
Smoked my first ciggerett of the day, It's nicotene soothing my body and mind.

My head slowly welcoming the first thoughts in so long. I felt last nights sour sins and this mornings emptyness combine. My temper short, my anxiety long, I felt my new found peace comfort me, sliding into my hollow heart.
Smiled to myself and lit another ciggerett and was ready for today. Held my mind together from last night's falling
apart, tonight I'm ready once again to pray
