Always needy but never getting help
Living in a torn down apartment cause you cant afford more
Going through life worring whether you'll make it through the next day
Thinking about where you'll get your pay
Never having an education cause it wasnt affordable
Wonder what its like to be rich
Buying what you want, whether you need it or not
Getting your way in everything without a hitch
Using fancy foodware, not standing for the crude
Lonely cause nobody likes the stuck-up attitude
I dont know about the extremes of society
I only know the average person that I and my friends are
Trying to please the parents and get through school
Having a girlfriend and facing complications
The smoking, the drugs
The verbal beatings, the peer pressure
The edge of insanity, the suicidal urges
The highs and lows of an average day
The average teenage has got it pretty rough
We learn how to live and get by by acting tough
Ironic how the rich and poor want to be like us
Yet we would just like an escape from our problems and be like them
Maybe we need a day in their shoes to show how valuable our lives are

A person needs just one friend to be with and share how they feel. That helps me. All we need is just one good friend. "Good friends are like diamonds, precious and rare."

Ramfire
