Not all creations of God are perfect and sound,
Some unfortunately are deformed and disabled.
Why this vagary in creation, none can comprehend,
Where the creator has failed, man can step in to mend.
Born blind, one can’t see and admire Nature’s glory,
Sans limb, one can’t climb the hills for a panoramic view,
Or warmly cuddle a person to express his deep love,
A deaf can’t hear Nature’s ring tone, the cuckoo’s call,
Born dumb, one can hear a song; merrily can’t sing along.
Living or dead, you can change or give one a new lease of life.
To fix one’s defective filtering system, spare your kidney;
Save one’s life from the clutches of death by donating blood.
A blind can see day light thru’ your eyes, if you so wish;
Replace one’s damaged breathing apparatus, by your lung.
Your multi functional liver can replace the impaired one,
Your heart can set right one’s erratic pumping function,
Your bone can prop up an accident victim’s collapsed frame,
Or your bone marrow can repair a failing body system.
Your noble act will decide the fate of a person close to death.
Dead, lay buried you are, only for the maggots to feast,
Or the flames consume your flesh, reducing you to dust.
Let not your mortal frame go waste, when it can be of use,
Right now register to donate your cadaver organs,
That, a terminally sick person may live in your death.

Very bold for someone who believes in a creator to say the one who has given us life has failed. I don't agree with this statement at all.

I find this extremely reflective subject matter. A notably worthwhile endeavor. Whether applied toward the solicitation of much needed attention for perhaps a somewhat morose, but tangible higher cause & it's effect. . . or as manna for rendering the magnitude of our many fragile & perplexing human states. . . well done. Still, be sure. . . we are only passer-byers. Our every awareness, simply a blessing. To what degree will we surrender. . . of ourselves? The sheer relevancy & unimaginable synchronicity of all creation. . . remains overwhelming. . . continues to stagger the mind. The potential of being established in precise harmony to every other thing, balancing out eternity with equal love for each, this grace, my friend, is the key. Not so much in being created equal (or the insufferable opposite). . . but in allowing the manifestation of each life with equal love. Always, the highest thought, not only provocative but all encompassing & timeless. The circle is complete. Truly, I must agree with Scarecrowman, to disagree with the statement of an inherent failing on the part of our Creator. I witness no flaw. Althou, my understanding of the divine love, is limited, at best, I recgonize that our truths are rarely the truth, absolute. I also realize our comprehension rests often, solely on our prior ( & questionable) awareness & little else. I believe in the highest thought bringing forth the good for all. I believe in exaulted purpose, an agenda of transferrance, & any method of mercy. You offer a very blessed message. peace. elle
